Oh Baby

My little niece, Cooper Layne Shoults, arrived July 10, 2012.  She could not be more precious.  She definitely looks like a Shoults, so far.  It is crazy how much she looks like our baby pictures.

Just compare ...

My sister

And me!

She is definitely a Shoults girl!

I may or may not have caught the baby fever.  But that will be a LONG time from now, if EVER.  I would have THE hardest time 1.Naming my child and 2.Deciding on which way to go with his/her nursery.  Until then, I've had some fun creating some design boards for those little bambinos.

I LOVE bright colors obviously.  But here is an idea for those moms that like to keep the gender to themselves, keep the color tone down, or even make it a surprise, a neutral nursery.

I also made a little sketchup of this nursery ...

This kids are adorable.  I would not be able to resist dressing my kids this hip!

 Yes, I'm serious.

So much fun!  I will leave you with this precious smile :)

Austin goes GLAM

My sister and her fiance just purchased their first new house together and I am so proud to be their "Interior Designer"!  Erin's style is simple but cool and modern.  Of course living in Austin, we had to throw some "rustic" in the mix.  Here is a look at her glitzy twang living room ...

I LOVE Austin.  I love the food, the music, the art, the people, everything about it.  If my career would allow it, and I could convince Matt, we would move there ASAP :)

I thought this artwork was a really cool ATX touch just to place in a small hallway or powder bath.  You can get your own here.

I believe in Pink ...

What girl does not love pink?  At least some pops of pink?  As soon as I saw this fab, pink, girly girl condo, I knew I had to do a design board for this one.  I honestly don't like wearing pink that much at all, and I probably couldn't realistically live in any of these pink homes, but I do miss having a few pops of pink in my house.  Now that Matt and I live together, the pink has been vetoed unfortunately.  But somehow deer heads have managed to make their way into our living room.  Is that what a compromise is???

Here's some pinkspiration for the fellow blush lover ...

I seriously regret not taking full advantage of pink while I was single, living in my one bedroom apartment!!  I die over that ombre wall.

Here's a look at my girly girl condo ... Of course it would be in uptown, and I would have a little chihuahua dressed in clothes, and all.

A few pieces I just couldn't find the right place for but gosh I sure do love them.

And lastly, a quote from the pink lady herself, Miss Audrey Hepburn.
